Hobbies
I enjoy reading autobiographies, traveling, running (with or without a dog!), working out, thinking up ways to incorporate sports and project-based learning into math programs to promote learning by making it a personal, self-motivating experience. My growing passion is watching basketball and helping complete stats keeping during basketball games held by the QSLA Learning Centre. We often use the stats that we collect for student learning by showing students how to use spreadsheets and graphs to analyze the player data. Not much compares to a struggling student that recognizes math is not all that bad!
