I want to be a tutor because I have been working with children for over four years in the Parks and Recreation development with the City of Burlington. I have received training for jobs in the field of day camps as well as pre-school programs and I would like to put my strong communication skills towards a new age group. Education is very important and I want anyone I tutor to understand its value and strive for success. Aside from the extensive training I received from the City of Burlington about interacting with children, I have also been in French immersion for 9 years. I studied advanced French at the university level as well and am now pursuing Italian. I performed very well in all of my classes in high school (Ontario Scholar, average 91%), I can absolutely be of help when it comes to most subjects all around. Over all, I am very passionate about improving my communication skills so I seize every opportunity I get; I have studied French for nine years and I am hoping to become tri-lingual (pursuing Spanish and Italian) by the time I graduate university.
