-Currently in the application cycle for medical schools, and have a pretty flexible schedule
ExperienceIn the past I have tutored quite often, but for the past year or so, UofT has really occupied most of my time. I would like to get back to doing what I enjoy, and that's tutoring. This is one of the few jobs I have had in the past 5 years that I would look forward to.
What I think separates me from most other tutors is the amount of attention I pay to my students. If a student requires help in a subject, my first goal is to pinpoint their weakness with a few, simple, strategic questions, and then identify the root of this misunderstanding so that I may effectively teach them without hindrances. Furthermore, I consider myself quite a patient, easy-going and understanding tutor (but then again...who doesn't?).
With most of the students I had, the interaction often starts similar to most other tutors, but over time I see myself becoming more of a mentor, in all things related to academics and education (I would like to think that this is a reflection of my commitment to the job).
My academic record includes:...
-90% + in all high school science courses, as well as math
-I have taken all the fundamental science courses, calculus, biochemisty, neuroanatomy, medical-related courses, as well as a variety of humanities including philosophy and english in University
-Have received several scholarships from both YorkU (in my first year) and UofT (in the final 3 years)
I am located in Etobicoke, but usually have a car available, so can make a drive when necessary. I also collaborate with other trusted and extremely knowledgeable tutors, so if at any time I may not be available (which is very unlikely), take solace in knowing that you will be covered in whatever you need help with.
If you would like to see a reference letter from one of my past college students or a concise resume of my experiences, feel free to ask.

HobbiesI am currently working to pursue a career in medicine.
My hobbies include...pretty much everything: soccer, piano, computer-tech, fashion, philosophy, classical literature and classical music, you name it. The luxury of the free time I have this application cycle also allows me to explore new things everyday, which is precisely what I do.

Aslan is a great tutor, his explanations are clear, articulated and easy to follow . if you have a doubt he would walk you through patiently. He would go to the basics in order for you to fill in the gaps and have a deeper and better understanding of the subject.
