Lakehead University, B.Eng., Department of Mechanical Engineering (2003-2007), Graduated with First Class Standing.
ExperienceI have been tutoring privately for over 10 years. During my undergrad I was the Engineering Science tutor for the Learning Assistance centre at Lakehead University. I have since been employed as a classroom TA for courses in Calculus, Linear Algebra (at Lakehead University), Differential Equations and Dynamics (at the University of Toronto). Over the past 4 years I have been consistently ranked among the top classroom TAs for the introductory MIE 100S dynamics course. During November 2011, I had the opportunity to be the computer laboratory instructor for graduate courses in Solid Mechanics and Nondestructive Evaluation at the Addis Ababa Institute of Technology (AAIT) in Ethiopia. I genuinely enjoy tutoring as I strongly believe that all students are capable of excelling in technical subjects with proper instruction. I am willing to provide such instruction for a reasonable fee. I am fluent in English, French and can speak rudimentary Farsi.
