I have a lot of experience tutoring English, particularly for ESL clients. I tutor to fund my tuitio and personal expenses and to further my teaching abilities and experience. I'm a native English speaker and I writer, and I have tutored for all ages in person, online, and even for children in South Korea. I'm a 6th-Dan level Go player and teacher and receive positive feedback regularly. Recently, a Korean ESL student of mine finally succeeded in passing his English test, allowing him to work in Canada and support his family. I've been learning Japanese since high school and have completed two years of Japanese at the University of Toronto, sought help using Lang-8 and other online resources, and self-studied through study and face-to-face practice. Story-writing is my greatest passion. I am pursuing several possible career avenues including sociology, computer programming, game design, and writing (novels, professional writing, editing, or similar). I especially love to write fantasy and romance. I'm friendly and patient and I prefer to use creative and fun explanations and familiar examples, tailoring my lesson structures and teaching styles to suit my students.
