I hold a Master of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Honours in Political Science and Spanish from Queen's University, and an International Studies Certificate from Queen's University with a focus on Cultural Studies and Languages.

Experience

I have 15 years of experience tutoring high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in highly selective programs around the world. I use a skills-based approach to learning that improves performance in the short term, while providing long-term value and sustainable benefits by building the core skills and confidence of each student. I was accepted to top universities and graduate schools around the world and educated in rigorous programs internationally, and my academic background is characterized by exceptional success in varied learning environments. I now dedicate my experience and expertise to supporting student achievement and high levels of self-efficacy through sessions that engage each student's interests, goals, and strengths. I'm also employed by the Student Achievement Division of Ontario's Ministry of Education. I received a Master of Global Affairs Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement and a Master of Global Affairs Entrance Scholarship from the University of Toronto; the Schlumberger Academic Scholarship, Dean's International Award, and Canadian Robert T. Jones, Jr. Scholarship from Queen's University; and was an AP Scholar with Honours. I scored in the 99th percentile in English and Reading on the ACT, the 99th percentile in Reading on the SAT, and the 93rd percentile in Analytical Writing on the GRE.
