Ontario Certified Teacher with many years' experience working in Toronto Secondary Schools. I have a Hon. B.A. and E.Ed. from the University of Toronto, and also hold Specialist's Qualifications in ESL as well as Guidance. As well as teaching adolescents and adults, I have served as a Dept. Head in ESL. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of language, and I am passionate about helping students learn to express themselves better--in speaking or writing. I believe that each student has a different learning style, and as a teacher it is my job to discover this to make learning easier. For each language student, I begin with a needs/skills assessment to determine the weaknesses that need to be improved. I am happy to send a resume and proof of degrees upon request. I will also meet with students to discuss their needs in an introductory meeting for no charge.
