I am currently doing my PhD in Gender, Feminist, and Women's Studies at York University.The focus of my research is on epistemology and philosophical discussions of race. I have a Masters' degree in Philosophy of Science and a second Masters' degree in Philosophy (general). My undergraduate background is in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

- I have taught a broad range of Philosophy courses (as a teaching assistant) at Simon Fraser University and University of Alberta. - The courses I have taught include Critical Thinking, Logic, Philosophy of Science, Moral Philosophy, and Nursing Ethics. - I have taught Math and English to high school students during my undergraduate education. - In the philosophy department, I have been particularly trained for improving undergraduate students' skills in writing and critical thinking. - I have a passion for teaching philosophy. - I also thoroughly enjoy discussing my students' writing ideas with them.
