I earned a degree in Honours English Literature and Rhetoric with a Digital Media Specialization from the University of Waterloo. I am also a TESL-certified English teacher.
Experience
I am a TESL-certified ESL tutor with two years of teaching experience at Seneca College. I have designed and facilitated workshops on several different subjects, including College Essay Structure, Research Essays, MLA and APA citations, How to Write About Literature, Paragraph Structure, and How to Write Compelling Introductions and Conclusions. I have also worked as a medical writer for an orthopedic journal and the University of Waterloo's website, published numerous short stories and poems, and completed an artist mentorship on book publishing, so I understand how to become a published writer. Furthermore, I am a Certified Coaches Federation (CCF) life coach who has no problem helping students set attainable goals and refine their study skills in addition to academic support.
