Aside from just tutoring, I have real world teaching experience in a high school setting. Although I do not have ESL certification, most of my students are international kids from China who do not speak or write English Fluently. I am also able to teach Graphic Design and Media Arts, as I have been running my own business in the field up until 2016. Furthermore, I am proficient in Guitar and Bass Guitar and will be able to teach music theory and performance if necessary.

I am very laid back in demeanor and like to teach at the pace of the child. In my experience a forceful hand will not succeed in bringing out long-lasting results. I operate in an inviting environment where the child doesn't feel like they are being "made" to do extra work. The idea is to get the child to understand that the extra help and attention they are getting will only lend to making them better, without making them feel like they are the outcasts who can't understand a certain concept or idea. Although I work with many special needs children, there are limits to the kinds of learning disabilities I am capable of tackling. With that being said, I currently teach children with LD's from Autism to ADHD.
