Education

I have a Bachelor of Arts and Education from York University. In university, I specialized in literature and enjoyed it a lot. I focused on British and American literature. I took a few courses on Shakespeare too.

Experience

I have a year and a half classroom teaching experience with students from kindergarten to grade 8. Specifically I taught grade 8 math, geography, religion and English. I taught Grade 5s and 6s, English, Math, science, social studies (history and geography) and drama. I also have experience teaching primary students language. I love encouraging young people to read and know how to engage kids in reading and get them to love reading. I'm also an Ontario Certified Teacher.
