First, a note on my credentials: I am a junior at an Ivy League College, with a GPA in the top 15% of my class. I scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, have won multiple national writing contests, and have experience working with admissions. I know what admissions officers are looking for, and I am offering consulting services for elite college hopefuls. I work with applicants on an individual basis to develop an admissions strategy that creates a cogent case to the admissions team. I am adept at emphasizing strengths and mitigating potential shortcomings, in order to create a stellar holistic impression. My application consulting service includes an essay-crafting component in which I work with the applicant to create an essay that is the best possible expression of the applicant's personal story. The essay undergirds and unifies the entire application, and is of critical importance. I do not merely edit essays, but work with applicants to write their essays from scratch. My rates are contingent on the service provided. My essay consulting service alone is $150, while my application strategy and review alone is $100. My comprehensive admissions strategy package is $200. I will spend as many hours as are necessary to ensure that the application is the best it can be. I am also willing to work hourly on an as-needed basis. In addition, I provide services for those who are not as far along in the process. I do early-stage admissions strategy and planning on an hourly basis, in which I advise my clients on such things as extracurricular activities, class choices, awards and honors, and summer programs.
