Education
I completed my undergraduate at the University of British Columbia with an Honours Degree in Chemistry and Physics. I am currently completing my PhD in Chemical Physics at the University of Toronto. Afterwards, I am hoping to pursue a post-doctoral position in applied computing in the field of electron and X-ray diffraction.
Experience
I have officially tutored all first year courses taught at UofT Chemistry (CHM135, CHM136, CHM151) as long as more advanced courses, such as Experimental Physical Chemistry (CHM327). I am currently a tutor/marker for the Scientific Computing for Physicists class (PHY1610). I have also spent many years teaching programming (Python, C++) in the form of basic skills and advanced machine learning. I wish to become a tutor because as I deeply enjoy the task. I have always had great teachers and tutors throughout my life and wish to return the favour to other eager students! In my free time, I spend a lot of time cycling (I am a member of UofT's cycling team!) and developing and testing my own electronic circuits for guitar pedals (I'm an active musician - helps keep my sanity during grad school). Otherwise, I have deep interests in mathematics, physics, astronomy, computer science, Arduino development, and games!
