Education
I earned a BA with a major in Communication Studies and a double minor in Economics and Applied Language Studies from Chung Cheng University in Taiwan. I am currently attending the University of Toronto in Canada to obtain a Master's degree in Management and Professional Accounting.
Experience
I am a professional Mandarin Chinese tutor who previously worked as a journalist, so I can model what the language is supposed to look and sound like for my students. I also have experience teaching English to junior high students and served as an official interpreter of an education fair. I have also hosted exchange students. I understand the challenges that students face because I have done many of the same things they are trying to do. For example, I earned a 700 on my GMAT and scored a 106 on my TOEFL iBT (30 in Reading, 27 in Listening, 24 in Speaking, 25 in Writing).
