Education

I completed Grade 11 with honors at the McGill Conservatory of Music. I went on to study at the Conservatoire de Musique et d'Art Dramatique de Quebec, Montreal. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Honors Art History from McGill University. I have also earned my TESL Certificate from George Brown College in Toronto. Most recently, I earned my diploma in Acupuncture, Chartered Herbalist, Holistic Nutrition, and Aromatherapy Massage.

Experience

I was a teacher at the International Academy of Merchandising and Design in Toronto for two years. Then I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) to beginners and advanced students at George Brown College. I went on to teach English to students in grade 9 at The Toronto French School. I then spent six years as an ESL teacher and coordinator at York University's Language Institute. Since 2002, I have been an academic coach and tutor. I oversee the needs of each student, focusing on their individual executive functions that require strategies and learning goals.
