Education
I am a Ph.D. Student in Chemical and Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto working on computational modeling of complex flows. I have a certificate in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning in the STEM Disciplines from Western University. I also have a Master's in Engineering Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering with Scientific Computing from Western University and a Bachelor's in Engineering in Chemical Engineering and Technology from the Birla Institute of Technology, India.
Experience
As TA for Calculus II at UofT, I have developed an understanding of the issues students face with this and other similar courses. I have provided weekly tutorials for the Graduate Course on statistics and undergrad course on computational methods for engineers including the algebra, calculus, and programming required. These courses include CBE 9190: Advanced Statistics for Process Analysis by Dr. Andrew Hrymak and Undergrad 2nd year course: CBE 2291: Computational Methods for Engineers by Dr. Lars Rehman. I have TA experience in other courses at both Western University and the University of Toronto. Further, I took an advanced certificate in teaching to build competencies as an educator sponsored by the Department of Engineering at Western University. I also organized team and individual competitive science events at Western University. As part of my research, I have used various modeling and analysis software. In addition, I earned a GRE score of 327 (Quant: 170, verbal: 157).
