Jonathan D.

Private tutor in Toronto, Canada

I am a tutor, editor, and author. I hold a H.B.A. degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto.

I am currently employed as a tutor at the Inspiration Learning Centre. Anyone can learn anything by connecting that which is known to that which is unknown. This is how everyone learns. Teaching is identifying the process which best allows this connection to happen. This process is expedited by aiding a student’s understanding and utilization of metaphor. Beyond offering lectures, exercises, testing, and analysis, teachers must help students find metaphoric connections between things they know and things they want to know. Using the analytics of cutting-edge, online pedagogical systems, I can help almost any student find their way to approach any subject. This is my mandate as a tutor.
