I was a classroom teacher for 4 years teaching Elementary and High school science and Math. Along with that, I have been working as a private tutor since 2012. I have tutored students of all ages, kindergarten through to university. I specialize in children with learning disabilities/difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, nonverbal learning profiles, anxiety. I am an Orton-Gillingham Trained educator, and I specialize in multisensory, hands-on and interactive learning. I am a very active person, I love being outdoors, hiking, canoeing, skiing, or just walking the dog. I have played a lot of sports, golf, squash, skiing, cycling, and long-distance running are my favorite. I enjoy trying new activities and stepping outside my comfort zone, as a result, I have acquired a lot of hobbies. Currently, I enjoy cooking, sewing/dressmaking, painting, and writing.
