I am a University of Toronto physician with specialization training in clinical genetics and genomics. I also completed a Harvard postdoctoral fellowship in vascular pathophysiology and eye development. I have an MD and Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Therapeutics with a minor in System Biology from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McGill, graduating with honours.

My name is Shawn. I have been tutoring and working as teaching assistant for undergraduate university students and high school students since 2008. Although my background expertise is in biology, genetics, physiology and medicine, my tutoring subjects ranging from high school chemistry and physics to master's thesis development in microfluidics. I have also helped many students with their medical school admission and graduate school scholarship applications, including tips for standardized tests, personal essays, resume preparation and interview practices. Currently, I am a training physician at University of Toronto. My clinical duty requires the assessment of children with complex medical conditions, which involves communicating with children with learning disabilities. I see learning potentials in everyone. My experience and qualification include tutoring university and high school science courses since 2008, consultation for scholarship application, medical school admission and master's thesis development with outstanding track records, and previous involvement in the medical school admission and Canadian Resident Matching Service file review and interview process. I've also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the McGill Journal of Medicine where I managed scientific article submission, review and editing. I served as a TA for microbiology and immunology classes.
