Experience in identifying students' individual learning styles and developing an action plans to guide them through the struggles they experience while trying to master a specific subject. Often, I assess what sparks a student's interest in a subject and play off those interests to fully engage them in their study plan. I strongly believe that every student learns differently, and focusing on their individual learning style leads to success.Special interests of mine include the arts and acting, so I pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Economics from Vanderbilt University with a Corporate Strategy minor. I went on to further my education by earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting at Brown University / Trinity Rep. While at Brown University / Trinity Rep, I spent time teaching classes and tutoring students in Economics, History, Acting, Musical Theatre, and Swimming. I'm also capable of tutoring in Math, Reading, Test Preparation, English, Business, and Advanced Placement.I like to spend some free time on my acting hobby. Most recently, I performed in "Much Ado About Nothing," a classic Shakespearean piece. I also enjoy practicing music, exercising, reading, and watching the Chicago Bulls NBA team.
