I am Computer Science graduate from the University of Waterloo, class of 2020. After graduation I work at Royal Bank of Canada as a Software Developer in their data and analytics team, after a year I switched to Amazon where I work as a software developer. My passion for education and teaching bring me here again. I am a seasoned tutor, have been teaching students individually and formally as a course assistant at University of Waterloo since 2015 I have done a number of courses such as Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Object-Oriented Software Development, Data Structures, as well as Data Management.
Experience
I am a University of Waterloo, Computer Science graduate class of 2020. I have worked with university and high school-level students since the first year of my undergraduate studies. Currently I am working at Amazon as a software developer but my passion for education brings me here again. I have been a course instructor assistant (ISA) at the University of Waterloo for CS 136 [Elementary Algorithm Design and Data Abstraction] and CS135[Designing Functional Programs], first year required courses for CS minors. As an ISA I have been responsible for teaching classes, grading midterms and finals, making marking schemes, as well as having lab hours and office hours. As a tutor, I can help you to understand how to approach debugging, mathematical problems, and many other challenging topics.I have experience working with all kinds of different learning styles and I am enthusiastic about learning. I am available to tutor interested students at a variety of levels in a range of subjects and topics related to Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics.
