I have achieved a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, Master of Arts (Humanities, fully funded scholarship) and Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Creative Writing & Sociology) from York University in Toronto. I have also successfully completed a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Diploma (180 Classroom & 20 Practicum Hours).

I am an award-winning writer, published locally and internationally, and vastly experienced in the areas of editing academic papers, assignments, commercial/official documentation, and applications. I thoroughly enjoy working with my students to develop and refine their writing and academic skills and abilities. Enabling students to learn how to work independently and gain confidence through the tutoring and editing process. I have also edited resumes, personal statements, articles, and commercial writing. I am currently preparing to write the barrister and solicitor licensing exams in order to complete the lawyer licensing process in Ontario. I've worked as a freelance writer and editor where it was my responsibility to write creative journalistic articles on the topic of identity, culture, and immigration. I also edited academic English papers for university and high school-level students. I am a published poet and have received recognition for my talents in the form of writing awards and performances. I've also been an English Language Instructor and Substitute Teacher and a Bibliographic Editor. Since completing my Juris Doctor I have worked for lawyers as a student at law.
