Zoe H.
Private tutor in Toronto, Canada
Education
I graduated from McGill University with Distinction with an Honours BA in English literature (minor in Environmental Science). I am a certified Ally for Equity in Education and a certified practitioner of Behaviour Management Systems (BMS), as well as being certified in CPR, AED, Emergency First Aid, and ASIST Suicide Prevention.
Experience
I have been working as a private tutor since 2010. I have five years of experience working in special education in the York Catholic District School Board. I have also worked as a TA in the Peel District School Board's remedial summer school program. I really enjoy working one-to-one with students, coming up with creative ways to teach concepts. I find it meaningful to support students and to watch them grow!

Hobbies
I'm passionate about rock climbing, music, and writing. I play flute and guitar. I began playing the flute in 2007 and I have performed as a flautist with Peel Intermediate Honour Band and Peel Advanced Honour Band, as well as servicing as a principal flute for Turner Fenton Senior Wind Ensemble. I also love to spend my free time in nature, especially hiking, biking, and climbing.
