Canadian Securities Courses CSC Usually when students came to me, I found they had the knowledge of finance but they don't really understand what CSI wants to test in the exam. For example, chapter 6 and 7 fixed income. They know what bond is but are stuck with the bond price, yield, coupon and the calculation. Some are very confused with coupon rate and yield. In my opinion, to quickly understand fixed income chapters, there are only two key study points there: 1. four formulas (PV, YTM, accrued interest and yield to T-Bill) and 2. relationship between price and yield/coupon/maturity. So if you understand them, you will be able to write the exam for this part. My existing clients include professionals on the Bay Street, students from universities such as U of T, York, Ryerson etc., small business owners, individual investors from different industries. I am an MBA from U of T and CFA Charter holder. I am working in a Canadian bank.
