Hobbies

I have played the drums for over 25 years. So I love music from jazz to heavy metal. I enjoy reading German literature, as well as classical works in Greek and Latin. I intended to become a public school teacher but moved on to a PhD program when teaching positions were full in the area in which I was living. I plan on returning to public education in the future. I consider myself a lifelong learner and I enjoy spreading that love of learning to young people.
