I have a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Systematic and Historical Theology from Saint Paul University/Université d’Ottawa, a Masters degree (MTS) in Systematic Theology from and a Bachelor of Arts, Honours (BA (Hons)), in International Development Studies from Trent University. As an academic and a teaching scholar, I am committed to the intrinsic value of post-secondary education, scholarship and academic honesty.
Experience
My approach to teaching and tutoring academic skills for university-level students focuses on developing the critical thinking skills and tools required to succeed in the humanities and social sciences. I have extensive experience teaching across the post-secondary curriculum and have taught in a variety of formal and informal settings including, secondary schools as an Educational Assistant, Community College extension program to indigenous communities in northern Ontario, and post-secondary institutions as an assistant professor, sessional instructor and seminar instructor. Individual tutoring is geared to the learning styles and goals of the student and may include more structured Zoom meetings, assistance with understanding course and assignment requirements, assistance with completing assignments including assistance with researching and writing academic papers.
