Education
I earned my Master of Engineering in Engineering Physics at McMaster University in 1993. In 1998, I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi with a Master of Science in Physics. As of 2001, I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from York University in Canada. My thesis was on a satellite instrument which would measure winds in the upper atmosphere.
Experience
I tutored senior high school and university students in math and physics for three years. I have taught courses in these subjects at York University and Seneca College on a contract basis as well. While at Seneca College, I was a math professor who taught Algebra, Trigonometry, and Geometry. Further, I have spent time tutoring students in Differential Calculus and Integral Calculus. I am a patient instructor with strong communication skills. I enjoy helping others learn. I will help students step by step as they complete assignments. I can answer questions about concepts they find confusing, as well as find ways to help them retain the information. I was a contract faculty at Seneca college at York and taught Algebra, geometry and trigonometry. Also taught Electronics at York University in the Physics department.
