Education
I hold a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Toronto. I have taught undergraduate classes in composition, modern literature and drama, as well as American and European history. I completed a Master's degree in Editorial studies (I currently work as a professional editor). I also completed a double major in English literature and history from Boston University, graduating Magna cum Laude.
Experience
I hold a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Toronto and have extensive experience tutoring university students one-on-one, classroom teaching, and editing at a professional level. I was a professional copy editor for a major university press for 2 years. I taught approximately 20 English literature and writing courses to undergraduates at the University of Toronto and Concordia University in Montreal for a total of 9 years. I currently work as a full-time editor. I am happy to meet in person for one-on-one tutoring, Skype Sessions, or, for quick turnaround, editing via email. I have wide availability including weekends.
