I am a York University graduate double majoring in ENGLISH and HISTORY. I have 9 years of both teaching and tutoring experience in HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH AND HISTORY, GRADE 7 AND 8 LANGUAGE ARTS AND HISTORY, and READING AND WRITING SKILLS FOR GRADES 2-6, as well as UNIVERSITY LITERATURE. My strengths are teaching ESSAY WRITING, GRAMMAR EDITING, and LITERARY ANALYSIS. I have read several of the NOVELS most English high school classes teach. I am a very enthusiastic and friendly tutor, but I am not afraid to let a student know when he or she is doing something wrong. I am looking forward to hearing from you. REFERENCES CAN BE MADE AVAILABLE IF NEEDED. I charge $40/hr for students outside Mississauga. I am willing to travel to Brampton, Etobicoke, Oakville, Burlington, Milton and parts of the GTA.
