I am an enthusiastic and energetic tutor who has recently been working with the University of Toronto's Pre-University Education Program. I have two years of professional high school tutoring experience with a strong emphasis on science and math courses such as physics, chemistry, middle school math, Analytical Chemistry, and Elementary Algebra. I also speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and can help students learn it as a foreign language. I help students with every aspect of their coursework, whether that means reviewing individual homework assignments, helping them budget their time for long-term projects, or helping them study for important assessments. I'm also great a pointing out how high school-level concepts translate to university-level academics, promoting student engagement with the learning process. I'm also willing to offer generic study tips and help high school students fine-tune their university applications.
