Andrew M.
Private tutor in Toronto, Canada
Education
I am currently an M.D. candidate at Queen's University. I earned my Bachelor of Science with a double major in Immunology and Biochemistry with Honors from the University of Toronto. I also hold a B.A Hon. Spec. from York University in Theatre along with a Certificate in the Chinese Language.
Experience
I am currently the Assistant Coordinator for the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine's Youth Summer Program, where I have taught Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Physiology. The program is intended to prepare high school students for entry into competitive university science programs. I have previously led study groups for Calculus, Physics, Organic Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry at the university level. I am currently conducting my own research in a plant microbiology lab at the University of Toronto after being hand-selected for the program by a graduate student in the department. I have over 8 years of summer camp experience working with kids of all ages in Canada and Europe, so I am comfortable working with students from kindergarten all the way through the university years.
