I have over 12 years experience as a special needs teacher and tutor working in school settings and as a private instructor. In addition to be a certified special needs tutor, in Jewish studies, I am a graduate of the School for Shamashim and am a certified Ritual Director under the Rabbinical Assembly of Canada. My thesis topic for my certification in Special Education at York University was "Teaching Children with ADD and ADHD for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah". I have taught adults and children with Down Syndrome literacy and numeracy skills. I provide in-school support - having helped students with reading challenges to build skills and confidence.
