Experience
I have been tutoring both ancient and modern languages for over a decade now with clients from the public school system as well as undergraduate and graduate students. I am familiar with the curriculum requirements and texts for public and private learning institutions and have taught students at all stages of the IB and AP programmes. As an instructor myself, I am also well aware of the expectation of teachers, which means that, in addition to helping my clients learn their chosen subject, I can also enable them to anticipate and so better understand how to approach classroom exercises. I have also tutored students over Skype and can experienced the many possibilities that this mode of tutoring offers. I assist undergraduate students at the University of Toronto with their semi-annual Latin & Greek recitation performances and have also visited private schools in Toronto to hold classes on the fundamentals of meter in Latin and Greek poetry.
