Education
I attended the University of Waterloo where I was in an Honours Arts and Business Co-op as an Economics major with Finance specialization. Prior to this, I attended the Toronto French School, earning an IB Economics Diploma and Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Experience
When I was in high school, my guidance counselors approached me and asked if I was interested in peer tutoring. At the time, I was not the student who was achieving the highest marks in the class so naturally my reaction was "Why me?" The feedback I received was that this student was on the Junior Basketball Team and he looked up to me as I was captain of the Varsity team. His mother had recently been diagnosed with cancer and his marks had been slipping for several months. I decided to accept the opportunity presented by my guidance counselors. As a result, not only did I become a tutor but I became a role model for this student. Being a tutor made me realize how important it is to work hard yourself so that you can embody what you teach. I have been a peer tutor, academic coach, and general tutor ever since. Currently, I am affiliated with several private schools in Toronto and am always looking for new students to help achieve academic success.
