Education

PhD Theoretical Physics/Quantum Optics, University of Toronto

Experience

I've been tutoring and teaching math and physics courses in the past ten years. My most recent teaching experience (2009-2014) has been at the University of Toronto, where I TA-ed several undergraduate courses including first year physics for students in physics, engineering, and life sciences programs. I've also assisted in organizing several science education outreach programs in Ontario, and motivated high school students for engaging in science & technology programs. I've taught math and physics to students with various backgrounds and skill levels, and I strongly believe that anyone can learn anything, only if the right teaching methods are used. It's amazing to bring confused and unconfident students to the point that they master the subject, build confidence, and eventually succeed. I can help students with learning the concepts, developing learning skills, completing homework, or preparing for tests and exams. The rate would be between 30$/hr-40$/hr, depending on the level of difficulty of the material and student's background.
