I earned an MFA in Creative Writing from George Mason University in 2017. I also earned an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction: ESL PK-12 from George Mason University in 2012. Prior to that I completed a B.A. in International Studies at the University of Richmond in 2007.

Hi! I'm Ben. I love tutoring, especially in reading and writing. I have an M.Ed. in teaching ESL, as well as an MFA in Creative Writing. I taught middle school English for four years in Virginia, and I also taught undergraduate composition and literature for another three years. I've tutored university and graduate school applicants on their application essays to US and Canadian schools for three application seasons. I have a broad knowledge and understanding of many social science and liberal arts subjects, and I can support your writing on almost any topic. How do I know? Because I've helped so many people become better readers and writers already.
