Education
I have a Bachelor of Arts (4 yr program) in Psychology from York University. For some reason there's a typing minimum for the education section, but really that's it - just the undergraduate university degree. Also, I guess you could say I have a high school diploma from Thornhill, and I finished elementary school lol.
Experience
I've been tutoring English classes under the name English Tutor Toronto for 10 years. During this time, I've worked with students of every grade (1-12) both native and non-native English speakers as well as students older than 19 seeking support in general English skill improvement, test preparation, work documents, post-secondary and post-graduate work. As a tutor, I strive to build customizable classes that provide value to students and help them deal with problems that are directly related to why they engaged tutoring services. I try to keep classes engaging and not bore students to death. I also try to encourage independent learning as much as possible. I'm far from a perfect instructor, but I am and continue to make an effort to improve results for clients and students that I work for.
