Experience
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with over 700 classroom hours in various high schools in Toronto. I've successfully tutored math from grades 3-10 as well as grade 9/10 science in the past. Observing and teaching alongside 10 different teachers in various classroom environments has helped me become a flexible and well rounded teacher capable of adapting to students' individual needs. I have taught sections of grade 10 Math (Advanced and Rush),grade 9 and 10 science courses (general and applied), as well as grade 11 and 12 Biology and have FULL COURSE HANDOUT PACKAGES including key notes/labs/assignments created by a mentor of mine with 30+ years of experience teaching Biology. My lessons closely follow his course designs (TDSB Ontario Curriculum) and these notes/activities have provided results year in and year out. I'm certain they will help all my students as well! I also have a library of great science videos which are short and packed with information presented in a way that is ideal for visual learners.
