Education
Graduated from Brock University in 2012 with a degree in English Language and Literature. After this, I attended Nipissing University where I completed my degree in Education in the Junior/Intermediate division. I am currently an Ontario Certified Teacher working with the Peel District School Board, and have taken additional courses so I am qualified to teach from Kindergarten up to Grade 12. For high school students, my specialization is English.
Experience
Throughout my first two years at Brock University, I took a wide variety of English classes including Literatures of Trauma and Recovery, Shakespeare's Comedies, Chaucer's Poetry, South African Literature, Children's Literature, Romanticism, etc. Kinesiology was a course I took much interest to in both high school and university. I am currently a teacher with the Peel District School Board, in which most of my experiences have been in middle school (grades 6-8). I have taught all subject areas at these grade levels except for music and french. I have also participated in after school tutoring programs with the Peel board such as Counting On You.

Hobbies
I love to dance on my spare time. It is an activity that I have been doing since I was almost 4 years old, and have never stopped. I continue dancing by running a dance club in the school that I teach at. I am very outgoing, and love to work with students. I am aware that tutoring requires a lot of patience, and being a teacher I know that I have the experience and patience necessary to help students gain the confidence they need to succeed.
