My areas of specialization during my graduate studies included junior and intermediate ages, English, visual arts, and special education with a focus on ASD and gifted students.
Experience
I offer tutoring sessions for English, reading, writing for all grade levels as well as some math courses. As an instructor I teach students to excel in English in accordance with the Ontario ministry curriculum expectations and developing personalized programs to enhance their literacy skills. I work with students to help them develop reading skills such as: comprehension, note taking, improving vocabulary focused reading and critical thinking. I also work with students to help them develop writing skills such as: formal and creative writing, essay structure, grammar, research and editing.
