I've been teaching private music lessons and music theory for almost 10 years. I have taken music theory for a number of years and it was part of my degree as well. I also taught full time in Vermont for 1 year. I was teaching grades 5-12 general and vocal music. As well, I am certified by OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) to teach in Ontario.

I sing in a great community choir here in Toronto. I love to sing karaoke, arrange music, and play piano. I've traveled quite a bit - I've been to Italy, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Poland, and Israel. I will be travelling to Cuba in April with my choir on our first international tour! My other passion is teaching. One of my best qualities as a teacher is being able to explain concepts in multiple ways so that I can teach to different learning styles.
