Experience
My experience includes tutoring with individuals, small groups and large groups in the classroom, at home and online in algebra, calculus, data management, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, biology and physiology. From determining learning difficulties, establishing a plan with the student and executing that plan, I continue to excel at providing math and science students with the tools to succeed and exceed their current course work goals. I enjoy tutoring with a focus on the student’s success drawing from a variety of teaching methods. I continue to pursue teaching because I love to see students excel and to begin to share my passion for mathematics and science. I have experienced tremendous success and enjoyment in tutoring and have familiarity with Ontario elementary, secondary and University science and math curriculums as well as British primary and secondary school education with an emphasis on exit exams (GCSE and A-levels). I also have tutored in math and science with an emphasis on SAT, ACT and MCAT standardized tests. I have received a 4.0 grade in all the courses I am offering tutoring in. I have also scored a 37 on my MCAT including scoring a 14 (99th percentile) in the Physical Sciences section.
