In 2017 I earned my graduate degree at York University in primary and junior education. I have since continued my teaching development with OISE at the University of Toronto. Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am a private tutor located in Toronto, Canada. I primarily tutor students in grades K-8 in all subjects. I am an active Ontario College of Teachers certified teacher. I am currently a teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. My teaching experience includes grades from kindergarten through grade 6. Tutoring provides me with the ability to work with students one-to-one. I can customize each lesson towards the student's strengths or areas in need of development. Understanding the student's individual learning style helps me to provide maximum support for the student as they develop concepts and grow their understanding. Tutoring should also compliment the content that the student is learning with their classroom teacher at that time. Bringing their homework to sessions is highly recommended. *I am well versed in online learning platforms and technological needs.

Hobbies
In my personal life, I am a type A personality with a constant focus on organization and how it helps us succeed. I am highly involved in health and fitness hobbies which include: running, weight training, personal training, and healthy eating awareness. In addition I love languages and traveling. I enjoy teaching myself new languages and exploring new cultures. This offers me different challenges and provides new areas for cognitive growth. Places I have traveled include: France, Italy, England, Austria, Portugal, Spain, New York, Florida, Las Vegas, Cuba, Mexico, and throughout Canada.
