I have obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees from Simon Fraser University. I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology and a Masters degree in Environmental Toxicology.
Experience
I have over five years of experience in teaching various aspects of Biology at an undergraduate university level (first through fourth years). I was employed as a Teaching Assistant during my graduate career (2011-2014) and privately tutored students for one year previously. I have taught the following classes at Simon Fraser University: BISC 101: Introduction to Biology BISC 102: Introduction to Ecology and Evolution BISC 302: Genetics BISC 313: Environmental Toxicology BISC 333: Developmental Biology As part of the job description I was responsible for private, in-class and in-lab instruction, in addition to grading of quizzes, essays and exams. As such I am very experienced in knowing what Professors and Teachers are looking for in written assignments, and in preparing students for exams.

Hobbies
I am an outdoorsy person; I love to hike, cycle, swim and play recreational sports (flag football, dodgeball, floor hockey, etc.). I play the guitar, and enjoy writing, painting and exercising. I live in downtown Toronto (about 15 minutes away from U of T) with my girlfriend and am working in the Research industry.
