3rd year BFA Dance and BEd Concurrent Education student. Achieved academic success in top 6th percentile of student body in 1st year. Continue to strive for academic success; have yet to achieve below a B in three years. I have my NLS Lifeguarding certification as well as First Aid with CPR-C.
Experience
I am a new Teacher Candidate with extensive experience working and volunteering professionally with children, families and community members of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. I am seeking to develop this experience through the rewarding educational experience of tutoring. I have worked with children in residential and day camp settings for 4 years, taught swimming lessons for 2 years, taught dance lessons for 2 years and worked at a daycare for 1 year. Currently, I am volunteering at the ArtStarts program in Toronto and intend to continue to develop my experience working with children in both formal and informal learning settings. Please give me the opportunity to continue to share my creative abilities, improve myself as a leader, and make a difference in the everyday lives of young people by considering me as a tutor for your child.
