I hold a TESL Canada, and I am TESL Ontario Certified with a designation in English as a Second Language. I also have a certificate in teaching IELTS preparation courses from the International English Language Testing System. I earned a master's degree in adult education from OISE/UT and a master's degree in women and gender studies from the University of Western Ontario. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Women's Studies with honors from the University of Western Ontario.
Experience
My previous teaching and tutoring experience includes teaching basic and intermediate English as a Second Language and IELTS test prep. I have taught these areas for George Brown College, Toronto Royal College of Technology and Innovation, and more. I have years of experience offering academic and professional writing help and editing services in-person and online. In addition, I have tutored in small groups and privately. I have tutored all subjects up to grade eight, including math, English, humanities, English as a second language, and more. I have also worked as a teacher's assistant for four introductory undergraduate courses in women and gender studies at the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto.
