Education
Currently, I'm an MA Art History candidate (also pursuing a Curatorial Practices Diploma) at York University. I'm also enrolled in a couple of MBA courses at Schulich School of Business, seeking a future degree like an MBA/MA in Arts and Media. I also hold a BFA Honours in Visual Arts (Studio Arts in Photography, Painting, and Illustration) and a Minor in Philosophy from York University.
Experience
Since 2009 I've tutored and assisted Senior Secondary Students with their artist portfolio as well as University Graduates with their application portfolio to Fine Arts and Architecture programs. I have taught at a photography boot camp at York University, in July 2014, and I was granted a scholarship for my MA and am currently working as a research assistant at York U. I have previously studied Biomedical Sciences and switched my program to the Visual Arts after one year of completing my science degree. I have always loved the arts and can see my future in the arts sector. I love teaching and learning. To me, the greatest gift in life is being able to give my knowledge of the arts and philosophy to those interested and keen to learn. I started drawing at the age of 3. My very first drawing was of a horse! I was interested in the anatomy of animals and later developed an interest in figure drawing. I have since been working with different media and was able to pick up watercolour as my favourite medium. I love writing too. In fact, the most challenging and rewarding experience to me is the art of writing.
