Experience
No previous tutoring experience, although, I have taken part in many study-groups, which has taught me how to communicate difficult and abstract concepts effectively to other students. My first research essay written at the university was published in an academic undergraduate journal. Additionally, even in first-year, my grader stated that my essay was the best essay he has ever received from a first-year student. I have won numerous scholarships as well, including a writing award. I wish to tutor because learning happens best when infectious. What do I mean by that? Students are most likely to succeed when those instructing them are clearly enthusiastic of the material. Unbridled passion towards the subject-matter will almost always transfer to the student. I have taken an introductory course into literature, which includes a broad survey of world literature: Classical texts, such as Homer and Plato, all the way to Dante and Augustine and so on. Also, courses on poetry, Shakespeare, British literature, continental philosophy, etc.
