Romina G.
Private tutor in Toronto, Canada
Education
My academic history holds a wide range of subjects, since I have always tried to think outside the box and synthesize. I majored solely in economics between 2012 and 2013 at University of Tehran. And I am currently pursuing a bachelor degree in sociology and economics at the University of Toronto. During this time, I have taken a variety of courses from different disciplines including evolution, calculus, psychology, and drama.
Experience
From a sociological perspective, it has always been unsettling to me, that mass education often fails to appreciate individuality and creativity within the student body. Every person is unique and private tutoring seems to be an effective method to recognize the distinctions and to help the students nourish their individual talents. I have learned these in practice through tutoring different subjects to students from all age groups. From 2012 to 2013 I taught German and English to graduate school candidates, during which I was able to develop a fast paced system that allowed them achieve their goals as fast as possible. Finally, since 2011 I have taught a variety of high-school subjects including math and social sciences.
