I have a varied multicultural background and have spent time working and studying abroad in research consultancy and writing. I am a native bilingual English-German speaker (feel very comfortable in using both languages) who has taken many specialized Geography and History classes ( as outlined under the Education section) at university level, which allowed me to gain particular if not unique insights about historical and contemporary human development in all its varied facets. As a tutor not only can I bring a wealth of this knowledge about these subjects to the fore, and communicate them effectively to the curious non-academic layperson, but I can explain the subject matter in a coherent and enjoyable manner, allowing for questions / concerns to be raised/ addressed. I inherently believe in the power of learning and knowledge, and as such I can facilitate a conducive, insightful learning experience. I am a good communicator / listener, and very capable of explaining an issue in my areas of expertise in different ways, meaning it is custom tailored to the student 's needs but also aimed at ensuring his/ her educational progress and success.
